steps to JLPT 1

About JLPT 1

Hi.

2007 has passed. I couldn’t take the exam, and I didn’t do any of the past paper except one. Maybe because I don’t have enough pressure to make me study harder? This year, is my last chance to get a JLPT before I go to Japan (probably). I decided to take JLPT 1 because then I can have more opportunities, besides, I do want to read/listen Japanese easily. Well, for write/speak, that needs different method.

The passing mark for JLPT 1 is 70%.
The test will take 180 min (45-45-90)
35 min more than level 2.
2000 (1926) kanji.
10000 (8009) vocabulary.

approximately 900 hours of studying.

That’s an increase of 1000 kanji, 3000 vocab, and 300 hours from level 2. But I heard that it is possible to pass from JLPT 2 to JLPT 1 in one year. Assuming I kind of passed JLPT 2, it is possible…
頑張ります。

Some people and websites that inspired me to make this blog and to study this way and I’m thankful to them:
